This is a Community Assessment of Orangeburg County. This assessment was done as a part of my class called Community Health Promotion. For this health assessment I had to do an assessment of my hometown of Orangeburg, South Carolina.  I did research on the county's health information. I created a pretend team for myself to have if I were able to sit down and have meetings with people who I would think would provide me with the most information about Orangeburg County. Using the data I found from my research, I put together a brief county profile, assessed health status, common behavioral and environmental problems, and more. An action plan I would likely take if I were to actually carry out an intervention plan is also included.
