Below, you can view my paper that discusses topics, such as Social Determinants of Health, Organizational Behavior and Governance, and my answer to a Preprofessional Concentration-Specific Question. My internship experience taught me so much about social determinants that affect the type, variety, and need for occupational therapy services offered by AnMed Health Pediatric Therapy Works and Clemson Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. I also learned how a certain structure, role, or function at my internship site affects the availability and quality of services provided at each outpatient facility. Lastly, I was able to evaluate an encounter with an individual that exemplified professionalism and use it as an example to improve my own professionalism. This paper has not only allowed me to reflect on my internship experience, but I had to apply critical thinking skills to truly analyze many aspects involved in the healthcare system.
