Since my career interest is in occupational therapy, I chose to interview an occupational therapist to give me more insight into the field. I interviewed Ms. Cathy Styles, OTL/R. She is an occupational therapist at AnMed Health Pediatric Therapy Works. I was very interested in interviewing Ms. Styles because she specializes in pediatrics, which is an area I may choose to specialize in one day. I wanted to see what her perspective was on the field and to learn something that I did not know about occupational therapy. I greatly appreciated Ms. Styles responses as they were very helpful in fulfilling what I was hoping for. The interview even more confirmed my outlook for a bright future in this career.
