Hiking
-
As I have gotten older, I have developed a newfound love for nature. The feeling of hiking up a mountain and getting to see the top is just an incredible feeling. It reminds me of life because at the start you know you have a long and hard journey ahead of you, but once you reach the top it is all worth it.

Cooking/Baking
-
I have enjoyed learning new recipes. I may not have a lot of time to cook as a student, but I do love putting meals together for family gatherings!
-
I have always loved to bake. I love making anything sweet! I am always up for trying to make a new dessert.

Creating Videos
-
I have made birthday videos for my sister and niece to capture these precious moments as we grow older.
-
I have also made my videos for myself as a "diary", so that I could have a memento of my own life so far.
-
Lastly, I have made videos for my coursework as an undergraduate student.

Art

This is my newest hobby! I love canvas and pottery painting. It has been an amazing way to spend some of my leisure time. I get to express myself and take home a wonderful keepsake.

Extracurricular Activities
-
Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority
-
I love volunteering! This organization is where all of my volunteer service gets done throughout my semesters. I have met wonderful people who love service as much as I do. I have also made great memories and friends through the organization.

Major Mentor
-
I was a Health Science Major Mentor. I like giving advice to students who are not sure what major they want to be in. I feel that everyone goes through a time where they have to reflect on what they want to do with their lives. For me to be able to help a freshman means a lot because I too was overwhelmed with choices as a freshman. Being a mentor also tied in with my passion of helping others.

Intramural Flag Football Team
-
I played with members of Gamma Sigma Sigma against other sororities. I got to play the wide receiver and an offensive lineman.

-
Intramural Indoor Volleyball Team
-
I also played volleyball with my Gamma Sigma Sigma sisters. We took turns playing each position and had a blast! We even went to the play-offs!

IPTAY Collegiate Club

I am a huge Tiger fan! I have been a fan since I was a little girl, and I have grown up loving Clemson football ever since. I go to as many games as possible!

Here, Gamma Sigma Sigma sisters celebrated the day that the Clemson chapter of the sorority was founded.

Education

Ever since I was a child, I have loved school. I was pretty good at it, and I was always eager to learn and ask questions. I believe an education is very valuable and important.

Health
-
The medical field has always intrigued me. I love reading health articles and finding out new discoveries within the field. There is rarely a moment of the day that I am not thinking about something health related. Health Science was definitely the right choice as my major!
-
In the spring of 2015, I joined the Student Health Advisory Committee. As a member of this group, we promote health education around Clemson's campus through various events. The topics that are discussed include mental, emotional, physical, and sexual health. I have enjoyed getting involved in health promotion around campus.

In June 2015, I accepted a part-time job assisting a professor in The Department of Public Health Sciences at Clemson University. Through organizing and entering survey data, I am able to assist my professor in evaluating how well a Cooking Matters program is doing in Colleton County, South Carolina.
